Manasvi Mamgai: Miss India World
Manasvi Mamgai, an Indian model, actress, and activist, has achieved fame and success in various fields. She was born in Delhi but grew up in Chandigarh. Her journey to stardom began at a young age when she won many awards for dancing, singing, and skating, nearly 50 of them by the time she was 15.
Beauty Pageants and Modeling:
Manasvi’s modeling career took off in 2006 when she won the Elite Model Look India competition and made her debut at the India Fashion Week. In 2008, she won the titles of Miss India Tourism International and Miss Tourism International. However, her most significant achievement came in 2010 when she became Femina Miss India World, allowing her to represent India at the Miss World 2010 pageant in China.
Manasvi’s grace and talent shone at the competition, and she made it to the top 8 in the Dances of the World segment. After her Miss India win, she became a sought-after model, walking the runways for top Indian designers and appearing in magazines like Vogue, Elle, Femina, and more.
Film and Television:
Manasvi’s talents extended beyond modeling, leading her to the world of acting. She learned acting at Anupam Kher’s acting school in Mumbai and made her acting debut in 2012 with a play called “LIMBO,” which received critical acclaim. The same year, she appeared in the movie “The World Before Her.”
Her big break in films came in 2014 when she played a villain, Marina, opposite Ajay Devgn in the movie “Action Jackson.” She even appeared on the popular comedy show “Comedy Nights with Kapil” alongside her “Action Jackson” co-stars. In 2015, she was nominated for the Best Debutant award at the Filmfare Awards.
In 2020, she took the lead in two music videos, “Yaadein” by American R&B duo TheMxxnlight and “Dum ba Dum” by Daler Mehndi.
Current Activities:
Manasvi now lives in Los Angeles, where she continues to pursue her acting and producing career. She even won the American game show “The Price Is Right.”
RHC Ambassador:
In 2016, Manasvi became the Indian Ambassador to the Republican Hindu Coalition (RHC), showing her commitment to various causes and her active involvement in politics.
Humanity Against Terrorism Concert:
Manasvi organized the “Humanity United against Terror” Bollywood Charity Concert in 2016, which was addressed by President-Elect Donald Trump. The event featured performances by Bollywood celebrities, including Manasvi, Malaika Arora Khan, Prabhu Deva, Sophie Choudry, and others.
Presidential Inauguration Performance:
Manasvi, along with Bollywood singer Mika Singh, performed at Trump’s pre-inaugural Welcome Celebrations in Washington DC in front of a huge audience and a global TV audience. They danced to popular Bollywood songs, including A R Rahman’s Oscar-winning “Jai Ho.”
Diwali Celebrations at The Oval Office:
Manasvi attended the first-ever Diwali celebration at The Oval Office with President Donald Trump in 2017. She’s actively involved in the RHC Immigration campaign to support DALCA kids and reduce the Green Card backlog for highly-skilled legal immigrants.
